About Loïse & Lola We are Laetitia and Marie, two long-time friends. Each of us has Métis children and lives in Indre-et-Loire. In discussing one day, we found that we had a common point about our children. Indeed, when our children received a new doll, very often they quickly get tired of it. Once, Mary found one in the trash after she asked her children to tidy up their rooms! In the end, we realized that our children could not identify with the generic dolls found in stores. We interviewed many parents (whether their children are Afros, Métis or not), and often they encountered the same problem. Faced with this observation, we decided that it was time to act and create our company and our brand Loïse&Lola. Loïse is the daughter of Laetitia, and Lola, the daughter of Mary. Alma is one of their best friends. This is the story behind the first name of our dolls! We hope you enjoy our dolls, their beauty and aura. Since the beginning of June 2021, we offer very original clothing, because it is made of African Wax print fabric, as part of a partnership with Afrowax Empire (in Togo). We want to develop this partnership to help Trésor (the couturier) and his team promote their work and know-how.
